Solicit nominations and select awardees for the Shining Star and Rising Star awards, as well as determine the Keynote Speaker and Honorary Chair for the Montgomery Women Power Tea
Organize, fundraise, and select recipients for Montgomery Women Scholarship Fund
Develop and implement mentoring program; recruit Montgomery Women mentors and community mentees; coordinate with Programs and Communications Committees.
Share the work, successes, and impact of Montgomery Women throughout the general community. Inform and educate membership of opportunities to advance their leadership. Maintain website, social media, and newsletter for all committees.
Plan and execute monthly programs that support Montgomery Women’s vision of “women leaders in every sector for a strong, equitable community” and provide valuable learning opportunities for its members.
Collaborate with Membership Committee by leveraging interest in program content.
Membership and Recruitment
Recruit and retain diverse membership; maintain communication with current members. Periodically survey members to identify interests and opportunities for collaboration. Onboard and welcome new members through events and trainings.
Plan and execute the Fall Kick-Off Meeting and the Annual Meeting.
Recruit, nominate, orient Board of Directors. Develop board policies and procedures and periodically review by-laws. President appoints committee members with board approval.
Ensure organization’s financial integrity, stability, and sustainability. Prepare annual budget; meet at least twice yearly to review bank records, budget status, and recent filings. President appoints committee members with board approval.
