Montgomery Women is walking in the Shatterproof Walk on October 21st to unite friends, families, coworkers and communities and raise vital funds to transform the way addiction is treated in America. By joining thousands across the country to come together as one community, we are helping to break down the stigma that surrounds our loved ones with this chronic illness. Together, we can create a world where more people can access quality care and recover from this treatable disease.
There are 46 million Americans who struggle with addiction, and drug overdose is the #1 cause of accidental death in the U.S. But with your support, there is hope. You can help make sure every American with a substance use disorder has access to treatment that’s based on proven research so more people get the support they need to lead full and meaningful lives. Because better addiction treatment means more lives saved. It’s that simple.
Help us be the proof that we can all make a difference in this health crisis.
Please join our team or donate today to support our efforts. Learn more details about the walk here and sign up to join our team below. After joining our team, please confirm your attendance with Montgomery Women Programs Co-Chair Larissa Johnson.
